The Lewitt MTP 940 CM delivers exceptional audio fidelity thanks to its true 1-inch condenser capsule and wide range of premium-grade components. The high-end handheld condenser microphone boasts and extended frequency range that can capture every nuance and subtlety’s other microphones may miss. The precision and clarity is unmatched by standard handheld microphone, ideal for both studio and stage applications. The true condenser capsule is comprised of a 4 micron Mylar dual diaphragm, using the same technology as some of the top-of-the-line studio microphone from Lewitt.

Multi-Pattern Capsule

The versatile condenser capsule is comprised of 3 polar patterns for a range of recording and performance applications. The polar patterns are comprised of: cardioid, supercardioid and wide cardioid. Each polar pattern has a unique pickup field and can cater to a range of situations and sound applications. The supercardioid pickup pattern is ideal for capturing premium-grade vocals. The wide cardioid provides an immersive stereo-like field for exceptional clarity all around the microphone. You can toggle between each polar patterns by the three-position switch located at side of the capsule of the microphone.

Low Feedback & Handling Noise

As well as including the switchable polar patterns, the MTP 940CM also boasts feedback-proof technology and low handling noise. The feedback-proof design is thanks to the consistent polar pattern and premium-grade components. The artist can cup the microphone all the way up to the ring without eliminating any frequency response, or the engineer having to lift a finger. The exceptional rear rejection provides super-high gain before feedback. The internal shock mount system also provides minimal handling noise for optimal audio performance.

Ultra-Rugged Design

The robust design of the microphone makes it suitable for both stage and studio. The microphone's body is comprised of an all-metal design with zinc die-cast parts. It also features built-in LEDs that illuminate the microphone to show when the low-cut filter and attenuation settings are in use.
